Types of Resumes

There are many different types of resumes. Depending on the industry type you are applying for; please select the best one for your job position:

  1. Chronological Resume: This type of resume lists information in order of occurrence – most recent information first.
  2. Functional Resume: This type of resume lists information in order of skill and ability importance as it relates to the job position you are applying for.
  3. Hybrid Resume: This type of resume is the best to present no matter which industry you are applying in because it is the easiest to read and combines styles from both a chronological and functional resume.

There are many resources available to you online, we encourage you to do research online and prepare the best resume style fit for your job position and industry type. Always research the company you are applying for before beginning to write your resume.
