Your Number One Priority: Be Punctual

Has this ever happened to you?

You plan a night out a week in advance with a friend or a significant other and when the time comes, you are ready to go on time, but your friend or significant other is running late. Maybe he/she is fifteen minutes late or maybe he/she is thirty minutes late or even worse, he/she cancels on you just minutes before you want to leave your house – how does this make you feel? You would probably feel frustrated if the person is running late, but if he/she cancels completely, then you are likely to be angry over the situation.

The simple example above is the best way to understand why it is crucial to be punctual – get to work on time, every time. As simple as being on time is, some people struggle daily - being a reliable employee can sometimes be the most important quality you may bring to a company.

Our Managers have heard some of the most creative excuses for skipping a work day, below is a list of reasons and we want you to determine if you believe the excuse is (V) Valid and warrants a person to skip work or (I) Invalid and the person should come into work.
