Your Number One Priority: Be PunctualHas this ever happened to you? You plan a night out a week in advance with a friend or a significant other and when the time comes, you are ready to go on time, but your friend or significant other is running late. Maybe he/she is fifteen minutes late or maybe he/she is thirty minutes late or even worse, he/she cancels on you just minutes before you want to leave your house – how does this make you feel? You would probably feel frustrated if the person is running late, but if he/she cancels completely, then you are likely to be angry over the situation. The simple example above is the best way to understand why it is crucial to be punctual – get to work on time, every time. As simple as being on time is, some people struggle daily - being a reliable employee can sometimes be the most important quality you may bring to a company. Our Managers have heard some of the most creative excuses for skipping a work day, below is a list of reasons and we want you to determine if you believe the excuse is (V) Valid and warrants a person to skip work or (I) Invalid and the person should come into work.
Your time is most valuable to you and you are being compensated by your employer for dedicating hours at work. Show up and perform. |
